1. Who we are

Digital Grove Ltd ("Find Trusted Roofers", "we", "us", "our") operates the website at https://findtrustedroofers.co.uk. Find Trusted Roofers is a trading name of Digital Grove Ltd. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: [email protected].

2. What data we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address (where provided)
  • Postcode
  • Details of the roofing job (service, roof type, urgency and any notes)

If you apply to join our network as a roofer, we also collect your business name, contact details, service area, and credential information (Companies House number, insurance and any TrustMark / NFRC / CompetentRoofer membership).

We also collect anonymised analytics data (page views, session duration, referring source) through Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

3. How we use your data

We use the data you submit to:

  • Match your request with a local roofer in our network who covers your postcode
  • Pass your enquiry to that roofer so they can quote for the work
  • Respond to any questions or complaints about the introduction
  • Assess roofer applications to join our network

We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we never cold-call.

4. Sharing your data

We share your contact details and job description with the roofer(s) in our network matched to your enquiry, so they can quote for your work. Those roofers act as separate data controllers for the work they carry out. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiry records (including your contact details) are retained for 6 years to meet our obligations under the Limitation Act 1980 (the standard limitation period for contractual claims). After 6 years, records are deleted.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies (required for the website to function) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, anonymised). See our Cookie Policy for full details.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
